This 8-channel 3G-SDI fiber optic converter is designed for extending high-definition SDI signals over long distances using optical fiber. The rack-mount transmitter receives up to 8 channels of 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, or SD-SDI signals, converts them into optical signals, and transmits them through a single fiber link to the receiver. The receiver then reconstructs and outputs the original SDI signals with low latency and stable performance.

The 8 Channel 3G-SDI Fiber Optic Converter provides a reliable solution for extending multiple SDI signals beyond the limitation of coaxial cable. It supports 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI formats, making it compatible with a wide range of professional video sources such as cameras, switchers, recorders, and video processors.

The transmitter unit converts electrical SDI signals into optical signals and transmits them over single-mode fiber. The receiver unit converts the optical signals back into electrical SDI signals and outputs them to monitors, display walls, matrix switches, or recording devices. With the hot-pluggable SFP module, the transmission distance can be flexibly configured according to project requirements.

Both units are built in a standard 19-inch rack-mount chassis, which is convenient for installation in equipment rooms, broadcast rooms, and control rooms. LED indicators provide real-time status monitoring for power, signal input, output, and optical link, allowing engineers to quickly diagnose system status during operation.
