The Gigabit Single-Mode Single Fiber (BiDi) SFP Optical Transceiver Module is designed to provide reliable, high-speed optical communication for Gigabit Ethernet and fiber networking applications. Utilizing advanced WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, the module transmits and receives data over a single strand of single-mode fiber, reducing fiber deployment costs while maximizing network efficiency.
Operating at 1.25Gbps, the module complies with IEEE 802.3z 1000Base-BX and SFP MSA standards. It is available in complementary wavelength pairs of TX1310nm/RX1550nm and TX1550nm/RX1310nm, supporting transmission distances of up to 10 kilometers over single-mode fiber.
The compact hot-pluggable SFP form factor enables easy installation and replacement without interrupting network operation. Integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM/DOM) allows real-time monitoring of optical power, module temperature, supply voltage, and laser bias current, helping administrators optimize network performance and simplify maintenance.
